When Drinking Water Contains Uranium and Thorium – Lehi’s Story

How It All Started

In 2021, I got a call from a customer named Lehi, and what she told me sounded completely illogical at first. She said that for two years now, every time she takes a shower, her body gets covered in a red, irritating rash. Not just mild discomfort – a rash that forces her to stay home for at least half an hour after every shower, until it calms down a bit.

Two whole years she’s been going through this. Imagine – you can’t shower in the morning and just leave the house. Every shower means planning for another half hour of “recovery time.” It’s something that changes your entire daily routine.

And the most frustrating part? Lehi did everything. She went to doctors, underwent tests, tried medications – no one could diagnose the condition. Not a single doctor knew what it was, not a single medication helped, and not a single test showed anything abnormal. She just kept suffering without any answers.

The Decision to Seek Answers Abroad

After two years of frustration and helplessness with the local medical system, Lehi decided to do something drastic. She reached out to a laboratory in Germany – an advanced lab that specializes in complex testing. She told herself that if no one here in Israel could find the problem, maybe somewhere else they could help.

The German laboratory took it seriously. They did comprehensive physical tests on her, and the results were shocking: they found elevated levels of radioactive materials in her body – uranium and thorium. Yes, you’re reading that right. Radioactive materials in her body.

Yes, you’re reading that right. Radioactive materials in her body.

To be absolutely certain, the German lab performed an additional cross-check using ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) — one of the world’s most accurate methods for detecting trace elements.

The results confirmed the presence of uranium and thorium at concentrations far above the normal environmental background levels. In simple terms, this meant the contamination was not accidental — it was ongoing exposure.

Below is the official excerpt from the laboratory’s findings:
“Elevated levels of uranium (U) and thorium (Th) detected in blood and hair samples, exceeding safe reference values. Further investigation of environmental exposure recommended.”

The Surprising Discovery – It Wasn’t Just Her

The moment I solved Lehi’s problem, I started thinking – if this happened to her, maybe there are more people with the same problem who just don’t know what’s causing it?

So we added a question to our conversations with customers: “Do you happen to have a red rash that appears after showering and lasts about half an hour?”

And you know what? Many customers started coming forward with exactly the same problem. People who had lived with this for years, thought it was allergies, or sensitive skin, or who knows what – and no one connected it to the water. Each one of them got the same solution, and suddenly they could shower without waiting half an hour afterwards.

Even the husband of our office manager – turned out he had the same problem. It was right under our noses and we didn’t know.

Why I Do This

Look, obviously this is my livelihood. But what gives me the energy to continue isn’t the money – it’s the joy of helping others. Especially when it’s something that no one else in the world knows how to do.

When I think about Lehi who was stuck at home half an hour after every shower for two years, and about all the other people who had the same problem – it gives me real satisfaction to know that I have a solution that works.

This is my first story from the field. I have more like these – because it turns out that water isn’t just simple H2O. There are all kinds of things in there that you don’t expect to find, and when you know how to look for them and treat them, you can change people’s lives.

The water we consume isn’t only for quenching thirst – every drop that touches our skin or enters our body through steam and inhalation affects us in profound ways. Our skin, the body’s largest organ, absorbs particles and minerals during a shower, while the vapors we breathe influence our respiratory, immune, and circulatory systems. That’s why the quality of the water we drink, breathe, and absorb is just as important as the air we inhale. Beyond its vital role, water holds an extraordinary healing potential – it restores balance, nourishes, and supports the body’s natural processes of renewal and wellbeing.

But that just raised an even bigger question – where did it come from? How does someone in Israel get exposed to uranium and thorium at such levels?

The Hunt for the Source

The German laboratory didn’t stop at the diagnosis. They asked Lehi to send them samples of everything she comes into contact with daily: samples from the food she eats, the clothes she wears, and the water she drinks.

Following comprehensive testing of both Lehi’s body and her environment, they found abnormal levels of vanadium, uranium, lead, and manganese. After analyzing all the samples, they identified the source: the water.

Her water contained radioactive materials – uranium and thorium. Exactly the same materials they found in her body.

While this might sound shocking, radioactive materials in drinking water are more common than most people realize. According to the EPA, natural radionuclides, including uranium and thorium, can be found in public drinking water systems, particularly in areas with certain geological conditions.

Think about it – she was drinking this water, cooking with it, and worst of all – showering in it. Every day, sometimes twice a day, she was being exposed to radioactive materials through the shower. The water that was supposed to clean her was actually poisoning her slowly.

A Crazy Development Marathon

When Lehi came to me with this information, I knew I had to find a solution. This wasn’t just another technical challenge – this was a person suffering, two years without answers, and now finally there’s a source for the problem but no one knows how to treat it.

I took up the challenge. What happened next was an absolutely crazy development marathon. Days and nights of research, experiments, failures, more experiments. Uranium and thorium aren’t something that regular water treatment knows how to reduce. You need something specific, something that knows how to capture these radioactive materials and reduce their levels in.

And within a relatively short period of time – and I still can’t believe it worked so fast – I found a process. A process that I can even call “simple and bizarre” at the same time, that effectively addresses this phenomenon. It worked. The water came out with significantly reduced levels of uranium and thorium.

Independent Lab Results – Before and After Filtration

Tests by Keystone Labs (Iowa) confirmed the results:

Before filtration: Uranium detected – 0.003 ppm.

After filtration: Uranium not detected (below 0.001 ppm).

The system effectively reduced radioactive contaminants to undetectable levels.
